KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM

Having just been dropped by his girlfriend because of his immaturity and his immoderate appetite for doom metal Joe is involved by his cotenants in a live-action role-playing game, in costumes and with weapons which are at first sight fake . However the use of an ancient book on witchcraft conjures up a real demon in this pretend world. Joe Lynch employs mise en abyme and self-reference in this action-packed movie which will make geeks, and fans of fantasy and medieval worlds howl with delight. For devotees of Game of Thrones and the superb rendering of the character Tyrion Lannister the film also boasts a major supporting role in the shape of Peter Dinklage.
