This programme was developed in partnership with several festivals, centres and residences, through events held throughout the year. These focused on major topical issues, such as winning back cinema-goers, in particular 15-to 25-year-olds. “Ideation”, the first stage of this challenging problem will be held at the Shadok over a three-day period. There will be round-table events, including a panel discussion on the role of cinemas and a closeup on how to successfully market films and win back audiences. Featuring a wide range of perspectives, the programme off ers a glimpse into how cinemas will operate in the future.
