Jess, mother of an autistic child, leaves her son behind for a day with a babysitter, and decides to spend the day sailing with friends. But from the outset, she is ill at ease and anxious for reasons she cannot explain. Then the boat capsizes in a sudden storm, but the group finds safety on a passing ocean liner.
Once on board the almost empty ship, they are trapped into a vortex of violent events that defy our notion of time and space. Only Jess understands what is happening … partially.
