THE THIEF OF BAGDAD

In the land of a thousand and one nights, a blind young man tells that he once was Ahmad, the all-powerful King of Bagdad, but that he was betrayed by his vizier Jaffar, who announced that he was dead and hid him in prison. He shared a cell with Sabu, the most famous thief in Bagdad, with whom he escaped. While waiting to leave by sea with Sinbad, the two penniless friends meet the Sultan’s daughter and Ahmad falls immediately in love her. But the Sultan has declared death upon he who dares to cast a glance upon his daughter.
