The Festival is pleased to announce that Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro will be present at the screening of the world premier of the newly restored version of The City of Lost Children. A dark poetic fable that opened the Cannes International Film Festival in 1995, The City of Lost Children brought innovative special effects to the big screen and is still today a benchmark in the cinema landscape of French genre. The duo Jeunet-Caro also directed the grating comedy Delicatessen, several shorts among which The Bunker of Last Gunshots and the fourth film in the Alien franchise.
The two directors will be in conversation with Gilles Penso after the film screening.
