Feature debut

Judy and her husband Punch put on puppet shows at a time  in history when witch hunts were in full swing. Encouraged by this success, Punch prides himself on being the best puppeteer of his generation, although it is more his wife who possesses the creative spark. She must also find the time to look after their baby. When she leaves the child alone with her alcoholic husband, an incident will change their lives forever.

This brilliant and humorous reinterpretation of the famous 16th-century puppet show lets us know that women will take no more blows with a stick without giving as good as they get.
