In the last days of the Second World War, a secret Nazi space program avoided destruction by fleeing to the dark side of the Moon. During 70 years of utter secrecy, the Nazis constructed a gigantic space fortress with a massive armada of flying saucers. When American astronaut James Washington puts down his lunar lander a bit too close to the secret Nazi base, the Moon Fuehrer decides that the glorious moment to re-conquer the Earth has arrived sooner than expected. Two Nazi officers, ruthless Klaus Adler and idealistic Renate Richter, travel to Earth to prepare the invasion.

With a highly improbable scenario, Iron Sky built up a solid pre-release reputation and was one of the most anticipated films of 2012. A mix of sci-fi and comedy that surfs 1970s naziploitation, Iron Sky is indefinable and not to be missed.

Finnish director Tim Vuorensola has made short films, music clips and publicity films. His first feature film was the sci-fi comedy Star Wreck in the Pirkinning.
