A small group of travellers, with nothing in common, nd themselves stuck in a railway carriage and under attack by ferocious werewolves. In the open countryside and unable to move, they face an ordeal set to last all night. Paul Hyett, a special effects specialist credited with some of the major horror blockbusters of the last decade, has moved into the director’s chair to provide us with a classic, extremely forceful werewolf film. In addition to its striking and particularly well-crafted creatures, the exceptional quality of Howl is due to a storyline that unfolds behind closed doors. Little by little, the characters fall apart, and danger arises from the tensions within the group itself.
