The Festival is pleased to present our poster, design by Mahon, for the Flow exhibition, the flagship event of Connexions, our digital section. With entry free of charge at the Shadok from 9 September to 30 October, discover the history of videogame trances, those extra-sensory dreams that explain so many sleepless nights.
After a year of absence, the Indie Game Contest’s finalists games will be available to play again and a selection of adrenaline-charged titles will put you in hypnosis for the duration of your visit. The VR Film Corner, more interactive than ever, will convince you of the psychedelic virtues of new technologies.
Because fury is only one step away from synaesthesia, a retrospective dedicated to the works of Tetsuya Mizuguchi will review the remarkable career of this visionary creator. Awaken your senses with Rez, Lumines and experience the frenzy of Tetris Effect: Connected, either on your own or with others.
The icing on the cake: the Strasbourg duo Crash Server has put together an interactive musical installation, whose sounds and visuals are generated by an algorithm that responds to your actions. Fusion with the machine is now within reach.
This year also marks the return of the round tables, a Versus Fighting tournament and workshops throughout Connexions two-month run, from the creation of novel controllers to the initiation into beatmaking.
The full programme of the exhibition will be available soon in the Connexions section of www.strasbourgfestival.com
