THE DARJEELING LIMITED

Synopsis du film

A year after their father’s death, Francis, Peter and Jack decide to travel to northern India in search of their mother, who inexplicably did not attend the funeral. The three brothers meet on board a train called The Darjeeling Limited and have to learn to deal with each other’s characters and whims. Resurrecting the old clichés about India seen by westerners, the quirky spiritual journey addresses the theme of mourning in an original way and provides an opportunity for numerous encounters, each crazier than the rest.
