A travelling salesman, a pair of bank robbers and other unlikely characters meet in a diner at a remote desert location, waiting for a fuel delivery for the nearby service station to arrive. Their close proximity to one another leads to a series of unfortunate situations.

With a skilfully written script and cast of delightful characters, The Last Stop in Yuma County follows on from its illustrious predecessors, including the works of the Coen brothers. Jim Cummings, who won an award in Strasbourg for his short film, plays one of his best roles.
