LONG WEEKEND

Colin Eggleston

LW

A couple on the verge of a breakup goes camping in the Australian bush. But the forces of nature sense the muted anger driving these two beings, who soon realise that nature is wreaking their revenge on them.

Long Weekend is a classic genre film, scripted by the excellent Everett De Roche. Rarely has Australian wildlife appeared as menacing as in this work which, 40 years later, has lost none of its evocative power.
