Fabrice du Welz films the actress Béatrice Dalle as she follows the footsteps of Italian filmmaker and poet Pier Paolo Pasolini. Known for her highly emotional performances, she confesses to her unusual love for the author of Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom. This new kind of journey across Italy takes the form of a stylised documentary about the meeting of free spirits, including the filmmaker Abel Ferrara, himself the author of a fictional account of Pasolini’s final hours. As the journey unfolds, these different viewpoints revive Pasolini’s way of thinking. Du Welz, Dalle and Ferrara, all uncompromising authors, pay tribute to the poet’s passion.
