Vincent’s life turns into a nightmare when he becomes the target of both strangers and relatives, who are suddenly driven by an irrepressible urge to kill him. The attacks multiply, with increasing creativity. To escape death, Vincent must flee.
This first feature functions on the concept that the supernatural is all the more anxiety-inducing when it’s kept simple. Sound and image have been crafted to enhance the pain of each shock inflicted on poor Karim Leklou, who is condemned to isolate himself to minimise the risk of being beaten up or stabbed, among other threats. A distressing metaphor for the absurd nature of escalating violence in our societies.
