A young woman donates a collection of VHS tapes to a video store in Canada. Among them is a cursed tape, which holds the power to connect the real world to the film world. Suddenly, the store’s owner and customers find themselves face to face with the villains of their favourite horror films.
Cody Kennedy and Tim Rutherford give us the ultimate midnight movie, filmed in one of the last existing video stores, with the store’s real owner playing himself. The two directors also bring in a few horror film icons for the (guilty) viewing pleasure of cinephile night owls everywhere.
