A scientist tries to prolong his life by experimenting with female hormones. He believes that if he lives longer, he will have more time to find cures for the world’s diseases. He changes back and forth between man and women, but the less humanistic Sister Hyde soon takes over. A feminine slant on Robert Louis Stevenson’s Gothic novella Jekyll and Hyde and a precursor of today’s concept of gender fluidity.
