DOUBLE DATE

World Sales: Film Constellation

Alex is determined to ensure his friend Jim loses his virginity before he turns 30. To this end, the two men follow two women from a bar to a large house on the edge of town – unaware of the sinister plans the seductive temptresses have in mind.

Double Date reverses a process well-known in horror cinema. In this case, the assailant, predator and threat is a woman, or rather a female duo, bent on exploiting the male sexual obsession for a black-magic ritual. In his first feature-length movie, Benjamin Barfoot shows himself to be particularly adept at mixing horror with humour, pushing the genre boundaries with a fun- and action-packed storyline.

21 Sept. – Danny Morgan, actor, in attendance
