ANOTHER EVIL

After encountering ghosts in their vacation home, Dan and his wife consult a psychic, who ensures them that the ghosts are benign. But behind his wife’s back, he calls in a “highly-rated” exorcist for a second opinion. This new expert declares the ghosts to be lethal and his rather whacky exorcism rituals begin. But as the story unfolds, it is the exorcist, not the ghosts, who displays increasingly troubling behaviour. Carson Mell turns tables on the habitual haunted house story by shifting the emphasis to a psychological portrait of a manipulative exorcist and his obsessive need for friendship. Mark Proksch steals the show with his subtle portrayal of a tormented and dangerous man.
