THE POOL

Lennaert and Rob take their families on a low-budget camping trip in the woods. They pitch their tents in a secluded haven on the margins of a pool. Tension among the group is immediate as things go missing maggots infest the food and Lennaert appoints himself as corporate management leader of the group. Something lives in the pool and its presence releases pent up jealousies and hatred in an unhappy group of people.
Chris Mitchell combines elements of horror with that of enchantment in a film that is as much about human disillusionment and weakness as it is about the supernatural forces that exploit it. Original and genuinely frightening.
