To the throbbing electro-beat of La Mverte and Vega Voga, a tribute to Louis Feuillade’s 1917 serial Judex will be held in prelude to the Festival. Join us in savouring these rare four episodes that follow the adventures of the caped crime crusader as he pursues the corrupt banker Favreaux.

The film version of 12 episodes was adapted from the eponymous cinema-novel that Feuillade co-authored with Arthur Bernéde. To generate anticipation and mutual publicity, each text episode was published in the French daily Le Petit Parisien a day before the corresponding film episode was released in cinemas.
