A young woman who has committed suicide learns the hard way that death is anything but relaxing: she has only 28 days in which to scare the living or else she will fade away forever. Teaming up with an out-of-date-ghost agent, a has-been celebrity, she tries to haunt a hotel. But, as any cinephile knows, scaring people is at least as difficult as making them laugh!
John Hsu has made a jubilatory horror comedy, with just as many laughs as thrills, but be warned: Dead Talents Society may prevent you from taking any future ghost film seriously because you will have discovered the secrets and trade tricks of celebrity poltergeists!
