Individuals claiming to be Russian workmen raid the home of a peaceful family, under the guise of a renovation project. Criminals on the run, they lock-up the occupants to look for hidden loot.
A classic premise for an eminently crazy film in the style of a 1990s sitcom, with canned laughter and freewheeling actors. The directors of the New Kids saga insert all the craziness and bad taste of their previous films into this one. This mad caper is perfectly cast, with a judicious mix of devotees of the Dutch filmmaking duo and tried-and-tested figures from genre cinema, such as Nick Frost and Alicia Silverstone.
