2041. Every citizen has the constitutional right to live a full life. In the event of an unnatural death, the person is brought back to life using the innovative “Restore Point” technology, which works by regularly backing up the contents of the brain. Against this background, the young detective Emma is assigned the case of a murdered couple, one of whom could not be saved by the restoration team.
The first Czech science fiction feature film in forty years, Restore Point is a worthy heir to Blade Runner (1982) and Minority Report (2002), with a surprising plot set in magnificent neon-lit urban landscapes.
