THE SHINING

Jack Torrance, caretaker of a mountain hotel closed in winter, prepares for longs months of solitude along with his wife and son Danny. Jack will be able to spend his free time writing, but Danny, gifted with psychic powers called the shining, is terrified by the idea of living in a place where terrible events occurred in the past.
