A teacher and historian by training, Valérie Noirez took an interest in cinema and cinema pedagogy very early on. In 2006, sheco-produced a documentary on Strasbourg’s Stockfeld working-class housing estate for France 3 Alsace. She is currently in charge of teaching cinema in the new Cinema and Audiovisual Arts section of the Marc Bloch high school, a section which she helped setup.
