MARINA DE VAN

After studying philosophy, Marina de Van trained at FEMIS and directed several short films (Bien sous tous rapports, Rétention, Alias, Psy-Show). She then studied at Blanche Salant and Paul Weaver’s Atelier International de Théâtre and at Le Magasin, a national contemporary arts centre. She co-scripted several films for François Ozon, including Under the Sand (2001) and 8 Women (2002). She directed My Skin (2002), Je pense à vous (2004), Le hameau (2006) and Don’t look back, with Monica Bellucci and Sophie Marceau, screened at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
