I LOST MY BODY
After an accident, a severed hand travels all over Paris to find its lost body. At the same time, Naoufel relives his own story of how he met and fell in love with Gabrielle.
Animation is clearly a bridge to phantasmagorical worlds and a natural way to include the fantastic into a story line. However, Jérémy Clapin’s film is not based on a horrific premise. It quickly turns into a chronicle of sentiments, a portrait of a period of time, all the more credible thanks to its true-to life, well-written characters. The film was awarded the Grand Prix at Cannes Critics’ Week.
