Alexis and Yannis Metzinger set up the Cerigo Films production company in 2004 and have made over 15 films for television (documentaries short films and animation series), most of which they wrote and directed. They are currently completing the production of a 5 x 26 minute series for Arte entitled A la recherche du Hobbit In Search of the Hobbit which sets out to follow the illustrator John Howe in various places and castles on the trail of the legends that inspired the world of Middle-earth.
