CATHERINE BREILLAT
Catherine Breillat started out in 1967 by studying acting in Paris. Today she is an internationally known filmmaker and novelist.

An iconoclast and breaker of sexual taboo, Sight and Sound recently named her one of the 50 most visionary filmmakers of all time. Amongst her best known films are Romance (1999), Virgin (36 fillette) and Fat Girl! (A ma soeur) (2001).
